The sizes of the Prime pacifier differ slightly from the standard Difrax LOVI collections, such as Baby Shower, Harmony, Botanic and Night & Day. Experts recommend that the smallest size (0-3M) is best suited for children up to 6 months. Your baby has more space in the mouth for the tongue to move, which supports the sucking reflex and contributes to healthy speech and dental development. These insights also affect the larger sizes for older children.
- If your baby is 0-3 months old and has been using a standard 0-3M pacifier, we recommend switching to the Difrax LOVI Prime 0-6M.
- If your baby is 3-6 months old and has been using a standard 3-6M pacifier, we recommend switching to the Difrax LOVI Prime 6-18M (it is the same size).
- If your baby is 6-18 months old and has been using a standard 6-18M pacifier, we recommend switching to the Difrax LOVI Prime 18M+. It is the same size but the teat has stronger silicone and is especially designed for older babies.
