Before feeding, always check the temperature of the food by placing a drop on the inside of your wrist. It should feel comfortably warm, not hot. If it feels too hot, the food has been overheated, which can occur if the temperature sensor is blocked by limescale.
To avoid this, clean the heating element after each use and regularly descale it to keep everything running smoothly.
