No, we strongly advise against this. Pouring boiling or hot water directly from a kettle, thermos flask or Quooker into the bottle can cause thermal shock. This applies to both plastic and glass bottles.
Due to the sudden temperature difference:
plastic bottles may deform or become damaged;
glass bottles may crack or break.
With glass bottles, thermal shock can also cause very fine micro-cracks or weak points in the glass. These may not always be visible to the naked eye, but can cause the bottle to crack or break at a later stage.
Always allow boiled water to cool slightly before pouring it into the bottle, or follow the instructions in the product manual for safe use.
